- 1Brown the roast in a skillet; peel potatoes and carrots and place the potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the crock pot. Can add any vegetables you prefer i.e., onions, celery, etc.
- 2Place the roast on top of the vegetables (fat side down); sprinkle the onion soup mix over the top of the roast and pour one cup water over meat.
- 3Cook in crock pot for five hours on HIGH; do not open lid. After five hours, the roast will be very tender and you can make your own gravy with the liquid. Vegetables will be nice and tender. ENJOY!
