Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup beef bouillon or broth
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 small new potatoes, quartered
- 2 tablespoons rosemary
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced or paste
- 1 1/2-2 pounds beef round roast
- 4 ounces seasoned tomato paste
- 2 cups baby carrots
How To Make slow cooker pot roast

Step 1In 6 quart slow cooker, place beef, seasoned with 1/2 tsp both salt and pepper.

Step 2Mix together with whisk cornstarch, dry red wine, tomato paste, beef broth w/seasonings.

Step 3Place cut-up veggies in the mixture to coat veggies. Then put them over beef already in the crockpot.

Step 4Cover crockpot and cook until beef is fork tender, 7-8 hours on Low setting or 6-7 hours on High setting.

Step 5Place beef on cutting board and thinly slice. Put beef back in with veggies, mix beef with veggies and serve.
