  • 1 pound flank or skirt steak cut into slices
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup each soy sauce, water and brown sugar
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • cooked rice for serving

How To Make slow cooker mongolian beef

  • Step 1
    Put the steak and cornstarch together in a ziplock bag and shake to coat.
  • Step 2
    place the remaining ingredients except the rice and green onions in a slow cooker. Mix well. Add the coated steak and stir.
  • Step 3
    cook on low for 6 hours. Serve over rice and garnish with the green onions
