My husband is a rather picky eater but this was a recipe he personally asked for when his sister fixed it as a "thank you" meal for helping with her move. That was high praise indeed from him so I had to get the recipe!

Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless chuck roast (or sirloin or rump roast)
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 2 teaspoons seasoned pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon basil, dried
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt (like accent)
- 2 - beef bouillon cubes
- 16 ounces italian giardiniera, mild
How To Make slow cooker italian beef

Step 1Place roast and other ingredients in slow cooker.

Step 2Add water to cover meat. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.

Step 3Remove meat and shred, returning meat to slow cooker for one more on hour on low heat.

Step 4Serve on GOOD Italian bread with mozzarella cheese and mild banana peppers, if desired.
