Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Hungarian paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 dash all-purpose flour
  • 8 ounces cooked noodles or pasta of choice

How To Make slow cooker hungarian goulash

  • Step 1
    Cube the roast and add it to a slow cooker. Top with the onion and garlic. Mix the ketchup, Worcestershire, paprika, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and beef broth. Pour over the meat and cook for 8 hours
  • Step 2
    Dissolve the flour in the water and pour into the slow cooker. Cover and cook for another 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the cooked noodles or pasta.
