I'm not a fan of store bought meatballs, so I created this sweet & tangy slow cooker version using homemade meatballs. Preparing them in the slow cooker couldn't be easier!

Ingredients

milk
3/4 c
quick oats
3 Tbsp
finely chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
fine black pepper
2 lb
lean ground beef
1 c
ketchup
1/2 c
water
1/4 c
bbq sauce (sweet baby ray's)
2 Tbsp
brown sugar, firmly packed

How to Make Slow Cooker Homemade Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine the first 5 ingredients. Crumble Beef over mixture & mix well. Roll into 1-2 inch balls & place in slow cooker.
  • 2In separate bowl, combine Ketchup, Water, BBQ Sauce, and Brown Sugar. Pour over meatballs. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is no longer pink.
