French dip is my favorite sandwich. I love this one.

Add to Grocery List

  • 3 to 4 lb
    boneless chuck roast
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 2
    little cartons of knorr beef stock
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 3 to 4
    peppercorns crushed
  • 1 tsp
    dried rosemary crushed
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme crushed
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 12
    french sandwich rolls

How to Make slow cooker french dip


  1. Place roast in a 5 quart slow cooker.
  2. Combine soy sauce and next 6 ingredients together and pour over roast. Add water to slowcooker until roast is almost covered.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until very tender.
  4. Remove roast, reserving broth. Shred with 2 forks. Place meat on rolls evenly.
  5. Serve with dipping juice.
