French dip is my favorite sandwich. I love this one.

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 pounds boneless chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 - little cartons of knorr beef stock
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 3 to 4 - peppercorns crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme crushed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 12 - french sandwich rolls

How To Make slow cooker french dip

  • Step 1
    Place roast in a 5 quart slow cooker.
  • Step 2
    Combine soy sauce and next 6 ingredients together and pour over roast. Add water to slowcooker until roast is almost covered.
  • Step 3
    Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until very tender.
  • Step 4
    Remove roast, reserving broth. Shred with 2 forks. Place meat on rolls evenly.
  • Step 5
    Serve with dipping juice.
