  • 4 medium (or 3 large) potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • 2 large onions, cut into chunks
  • 2-3 pounds rump roast, trimmed of fat
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sliced pimento-stuffed olives
  • 1 can 8-oz can sliced mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 2 cups catalina salad dressing

How To Make slow cooker catalina pot roast

  • Step 1
    Using a small amount of vegetable oil in a skillet, brown roast on both sides.
  • Step 2
    Layer ingredients into slow cooker in order as directed.
  • Step 3
    Cook on high for 6 1/2 - 8 hours depending upon your slow cooker (must be cooked on high vs. low)
