Ive tried other carnitas, basically used different ingredients from each to get the flavor my family liked!! I aslo like it cause i throw it all together and forget about it till its done!!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless pork
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon season all
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder, or more depending on ur taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water

How To Make slow cooker carnitas

  • Step 1
    mix all ingredients put in slow cooker, cover and cook on high for 4 hrs or low for 8 hrs. When cooked use two forks to shred the meat. Serve on Tortillas, and fixins of your choice like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese,etc.
  • Step 2
    I also serve with Spanish rice and Pinto beans. Very good and filling meal
