Slow Cooker Beef Stew

It goes so well with fresh French bread and a green salad.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbbeef stew meat

1 mediumonion, chopped

4 largecarrots, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces

2ribs celery, cut into 1 inch pieces

4 mediumpotatoes, peeled

1 can(s)tomatoes, diced and undrained

1 can(s)beef broth, 10 1/2 ounces

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 Tbspparsley flakes
-
1 tspthyme leaves
-
1 largebay leaf
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
2 Tbsptapioca
How to Make Slow Cooker Beef Stew
- Brown beef cubes in skillet over medium heat. Transfer meat into crockpot.
- Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 8 hours or on low for 4-5 hours.
- If you'd like a thicker stew, add a tablespoon or two of cornstarch mixed in a small amount (about 1/4 cup) of water and add to stew about 15 minutes prior to serving. This should thicken it.
