Slow Cooker Beef Roast

3 - 4 lb
beef roast, chuck is best
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg
(envelope) onion soup mix
1/2 c
red wine
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
3 dash(es)
worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
salt and pepper


1Heat oil in pan
2Salt and pepper the roast
3Sear over high heat on both sides, to seal in juices
4Remove from pan and place in slow cooker
5Sprinkle the garlic powder over roast
6Mix together the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, red wine, and worcestershire sauce
7Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours
