beef roast, chuck is best
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg
(envelope) onion soup mix
1/2 c
red wine
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
3 dash(es)
worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
salt and pepper

How to Make Slow Cooker Beef Roast


  • 1Heat oil in pan
  • 2Salt and pepper the roast
  • 3Sear over high heat on both sides, to seal in juices
  • 4Remove from pan and place in slow cooker
  • 5Sprinkle the garlic powder over roast
  • 6Mix together the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, red wine, and worcestershire sauce
  • 7Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours
