Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 lb
    beef roast, chuck is best
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg
    (envelope) onion soup mix
  • 1/2 c
    red wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 dash(es)
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Slow Cooker Beef Roast

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oil in pan
  2. Salt and pepper the roast
  3. Sear over high heat on both sides, to seal in juices
  4. Remove from pan and place in slow cooker
  5. Sprinkle the garlic powder over roast
  6. Mix together the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, red wine, and worcestershire sauce
  7. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours
