Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2-1/2 pound beef round steak
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1-1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 can beef broth

How To Make slow cooked swiss steak

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, salt and pepper. Cut steak into 6 serving-size pieces; dredge in flour mixture.
  • Step 2
    In skillet, brown steak in butter. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  • Step 3
    Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over steak. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours.
