sloppy joes-connie style
This recipe has been around my family for, at least, fifty years. In fact, that's how long ago it was when my ex-sister-in-law gave it to me. Who knows how long she'd had it. It easy, requires few ingredents, and it's fast. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
- 1 - green pepper- chopped (can use yellow or orange if you prefer)
- 1 - large onion, chopped
- 1 large package portabella or button mushrooms. sliced- we prefer portabellas
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, smoked if you have it
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, ground
- - hot sauce to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 1 package favorite hamburger buns, we like the onion ones
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
How To Make sloppy joes-connie style

Step 1Saute onions, garlic and green pepper five minutes on medium or till translusent.

Step 2Add sliced mushrooms.

Step 3Add ground chuck and saute 8 minutes on medium.

Step 4Add hot sauce, worchester sauce, salt and pepper.

Step 5Add 2 small cans of tomatoe sauce.

Step 6Cook 15 minutes.

Step 7Serve on your favorite bun.
