Ingredients
- 1 pound ground round, select grade
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cans (10.75 ounces each) reduced-sodium tomato soup
- 6 - whole-wheat hamburger buns
How To Make sloppy joes

Step 1In a nonstick frying pan - Cook the ground beef, pepper and onion until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender, 7 to 10 minutes.

Step 2Drain well and return the mixture to the frying pan.

Step 3Add the tomato soup to the ground beef mixture and stir well.

Step 4Simmer for at least 10 minutes.

Step 5To serve - Place 2/3 cup of the sloppy joe mixture on each hamburger bun.

Step 6Serve immediately.
