    lean ground meat
  • 1
    large onion, diced
  • 1
    green pepper,diced
  • 3
    celery ribs, diced
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3 Tbsp
    steak sauce or worchestershire sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    26 oz crushed tomatoes

How to Make Sloppy Joes


  1. Brown ground meat. When meat nearly done add onions, celery, garlic and green peppers.
  2. Add brown sugar, steak sauce, and crushed tomatoes.
  3. Simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hrs or until thickened.
  4. Serve on rolls, buns or bread.
  5. Enjoy !!
