- 2 pounds lean ground meat
- 1 - large onion, diced
- 1 - green pepper,diced
- 3 - celery ribs, diced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 tablespoons steak sauce or worchestershire sauce
- 1 can 26 oz crushed tomatoes
How To Make sloppy joes

Step 1Brown ground meat. When meat nearly done add onions, celery, garlic and green peppers.

Step 2Add brown sugar, steak sauce, and crushed tomatoes.

Step 3Simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hrs or until thickened.

Step 4Serve on rolls, buns or bread.
