When we would have family or friends coming from out of town I liked to make Sloppy Joes. They were easy to make and warm up whenever the company would arrive. In those days, canned sauces were too expensive, so I came up with a sauce similar to Manwich. I know it is better now, because I know what is actually in the sauce. I serve my Sloppy Joes with cold slaw and potato chips.
