My Mom found this recipe in the newspaper from Pickens, SC about 45 years ago and it became a family favorite. It's simple, quick and easy. Who doesn't love a good Sloppy Joe? I love to serve this on toasted buns with sliced cheddar cheese, Yum!

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- - pepper
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup ketchup
How To Make sloppy joes

Step 1Brown ground beef, onion, salt and pepper, drain.

Step 2To meat mixture add flour and cook a couple of minutes to get raw flour taste out.

Step 3Add water, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve on buns with your choice of condiments.
