How to Make Sloppy Joes

Test Kitchen Tips
We added a little extra water after an hour. Just keep an eye on this while it's simmering to make sure it does not dry out.

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef and drain in a large skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and sweet relish.
  3. Add all sauce ingredients and stir well. Turn heat to low. Cover and simmer for at least 2 hours.
  4. Make sure to stir often ad don't allow the mixture to dry out.
  5. Serve with your favorite rolls. Enjoy!
