sloppy joe mix
Don't let this list of ingredients intimidate you. These are easy and you probably have most of the items in your pantry. I have 3 teenagers and they have certain things that are always on the "ask for again" list. These sloppy joes are filled with a sweet and savory flavor that keeps them asking for more. Besides serving these on a traditional burger bun I put the mix on buttermilk biscuits with cheddar cheese & jalapenos. They really are yummy.

How To Make sloppy joe mix
-
Step 1In a large skillet, over medium heat, begin browning ground beef. When half way through add garlic, diced veggies, and seasonings through the ground mustard. Saute until the beef is completely browned and veggies are opaque.
-
Step 2Add the remaining ingredients breaking up the stewed tomatoes into smaller bite-sized pieces; combine well.
-
Step 3Simmer the sloppy joe mixture for 30-40 minutes on low heat to marry flavors together. Or, transfer this mixture into a Crock Pot and slow cook on low for 1-2 hours.
-
Step 4Serve on burger buns with pickle slices and American cheese slices.
