Ingredients
- 2 skirt steaks (8 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 can anchovies, drained and minced (2 oz)
- 2 scallions, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, minced
How To Make skirt steak with anchovies and lime

Step 1Season the steaks with salt and pepper and rub the lime juice on them. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Step 2Heat the oil in a large skillet. Once hot, sear the steak on each side about 2 minutes per side for medium rare. Set aside and keep warm.

Step 3Add the scallions, anchovies, and garlic to the same pan. Cook 30 seconds, add the beef broth, and cook about 1 minute.

Step 4Stir in the cilantro and serve the sauce over the steak.
