my mom always made it with rice but it is just as good with noodles. My mom said that she found this recipe off a box back in the 60's and hadn't seen it since then.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut against grain into chunks
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- - salt and pepper to taste (mix into flour)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can mushrooms, canned (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons pimientos (chopped)
How To Make skillet stroganoff

Step 1If wish to use rice in dish make this first: Rice mixture: 1 1/3 cup water 2 beef bouillion cubes 1 1/3 cup instant rice If using noodles, cook according to directions.

Step 2Coat steak cubes in seasoned flour mixture.

Step 3Brown quickly in oil in skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and reduce heat to low. Cook until meat is browned and onions are translucent.

Step 4add worcestershire sauce, soup, and sour cream. bring to boil

Step 5and add the can of mushrooms and if want, pimentoes. Add rice to meat mixture if using rice. Otherwise, cover and simmer 5 minutes and serve over noodles
