Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 - onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
How To Make skillet chili

Step 1Place ground beef in a large, deep skillet; cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown; drain excess fat and crumble.

Step 2Stir in onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes and kidney beans; season with chili powder, hot sauce, ground cumin, cayenne pepper and garlic powder.

Step 3Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until desired consistency (at least 1 hour for best flavor).
