sizzlin' good sandwich!

This has been theeee most favorite item on the menu at the Forest Hills Inn in Cascade, MI for decades! It is called "Darn Good Sandwich." The key ingredient is not available everywhere, so when I am in a State that has them, I buy a bunch of them, freeze them, and take them home with me! My daughter, who no longer lives in MI, does the same. Ask the company where they can be purchased. Stehouwer Frozen Sizzle Steaks. http://www.stehouwerfrozenfoods.com/contact-us It isn't nearly as good with other brands of frozen sizzle/sandwich steaks. :( Dark Rye bread is important, too.

Ingredients
- 1 - stehouwer frozen sizzle steak
- 1 slice tomato
- 1 slice onion
- 1 slice cheese (cheddar, swiss, provolone, etc.)
- 2 slices dark rye bread
- - butter
How To Make sizzlin' good sandwich!

Step 1Melt a little butter in frying pan Add 1 frozen Stehouwer Sizzle Steak Slice Onion, Tomato and Cheese

Step 2Cook sizzle steak on each side for a few minutes until done. Add cheese slice after turn steak to cook on other side.

Step 3Butter both sides of bread

Step 4Place cooked sizzle steak on buttered side of bread cheese side up. Place onion slice on sizzle steak; then tomato slice on that. Place other side of bread (buttered side on tomato). Cut and serve.
