This was recipe my sisters and I came up with while caring for our mom, who was sick with Cancer. We kept it on the stove for all my mothers visitors and her Nurses.Mom insisted on making sure eveyone who visited would be welcome in her home and fed.This is easy and freezes well and makes really good frito pies.I buy small bags to use like at the county fair.

Ingredients
- 4 pounds lean hamburger
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 medium can ranch style beans (undrained) lg can if you like
- 1 can 12 0z. tomato paste
- 2 cans 4 0z. tomato sauce
- 1 package 4lb. williams chili seasoning (or 2 small)
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes ( or 1 can roitel)
How To Make sister chili

Step 1Brown and Drain Hamburger, Place Back in a large stew pot.

Step 2Add Onions, Cumin, Salt, Chili Seasoning and enough water to cover meat.

Step 3Simmer 15 min. to make a stock.

Step 4Then add paste and a can of water from the can. and the Tomato Sauce

Step 5Add Ranch Style Beans with the juice and stir.

Step 6Simmer slowly and adjust salt and Pepper to your taste.

Step 7Also adjust water if needed to your desired consistency.
