This is a dish my mom showed me how to make. I love it and so does my family. It's a great way for the kids to get their veggies that they don't seem to resist.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground meat
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 can cream soup (mushroom, potato, any cream soup works)
- 1 cup frozen mixed veggies
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 package frozen tator tots
- - spices to taste - we use garlic powder, salt, pepper
How To Make simple tater tot casserole

Step 1Brown ground meat and onions until cooked through.

Step 2Spread in the bottom of ungreased baking dish deep enough for layers.

Step 3Mix 1 can creamed soup and 1/4 cup milk. Pour evenly over meat mixture.

Step 4Spread frozen vegetables over mixture. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top.

Step 5Dump bag of frozen tater tots over the top evenly. We usually sprinkle more shredded cheese on top of this because we love cheese. But it isn't necessary.

Step 6Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
