Ingredients
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1.5 cups mushrooms, sliced

Step 1In a bowl, mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion.

Step 2Shape firmly into 6 patties.

Step 3In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties, a few at a time, until browned on both sides.

Step 4Spoon off the fat.

Step 5Stir in the remaining soup and mushrooms; return patties to skillet.

Step 6Reduce heat to low.

Step 7Cover; simmer 20 minutes, or until done, turning patties occasionally.
