This recipe was given to me many years ago by a Sicilian friend of mine. He told me this is "real" pizza pie! It's delicious and so easy to make. You won't miss the pizza crust!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chuck (browned & drained)
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- pinch - oregano, dried
- 2 ounces canned mushrooms
- - parmesan cheese
How To Make sicilian pizza pie

Step 1Mix together the browned and drained beef with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs and evaporated milk.

Step 2Press into a 9 inch pie pan.

Step 3Cover with tomato sauce and sprinkle with oregano. Spread mushrooms and remaining grated cheese over the top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese on top.

Step 4Bake for 25-30 minutes in 375 degree oven.
