sicilian crock pot roast
This is a melt-in-your-mouth roast with an awesome gravy. It also features an easy 10 minute prep time. I serve it with mashed potatoes or rice and a vegetable for a great family dinner. Oh, don't forget rolls to sop up that extra good gravy.

Ingredients
- 1 - 3-4 pound chuck roast
- 1 - large onion, chopped
- 4 - cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon better than bullion beef base or 4 beef bullion cubes
- 2 cups water
- - salt/pepper to taste
How To Make sicilian crock pot roast

Step 1Add onions, garlic, bullion and water to crock pot. If using BTB, I add 1 T to a mason jar with 2 cups water and heat in microwave for 30 seconds then shake well and pour in crock.

Step 2Salt and Pepper Roast on both sides.

Step 3Add roast to crock pot and set on low, cook for 6 hours or until done.
