Ingredients

  • 6 ounces ground beef or pork
  • 8 ounces thin chinese noodles or ramen
  • 1 large scallion
  • 1 bunch cilantro, fresh
  • 1 bunch leafy greens (spinach, pea shoots...etc)
  • SAUCE
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chinese dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken bullion powder or salt
  • 1 teaspoon chinese vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chinese pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chinese sesame paste
  • 2 tablespoons hot oil

How To Make sichuan dan dan noodles

  • Step 1
    Watch the video!
  • Step 2
    Start with the sauce.
  • Step 3
    In a small amt. of oil, stir fry the meat with garlic. Add soy sauce for color.
  • Step 4
    While frying the meat, cook noodles in 6 C of water.
  • Step 5
    When the noodles are nearly done, add greens. Drain noodles and greens thoroughly.
  • Step 6
    Build dish: a. Sauce on bottom b. Noodles and greens c. Meat mixture d. Garnish with chopped cilantro and fried peanuts.
