3-4 lb
boneless chuck roast
1/4-1/2 c
water
1 pkg
mccormick's swiss steak seasoning
1 stick
butter
1 lb
mushrooms, fresh or canned

How to Make Shredded Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Wash and place meat in crock pot(thawed or frozen).
  • 2Pour water over roast.
  • 3Put dry seasoning over roast.
  • 4Cover and cook on high for 5-9 hours or until fork tender.
  • 5When roast in done, remove from crock pot.
  • 6Put butter and mushrooms in broth.
  • 7Pull fat off roast and discard.
  • 8Use two forks to shred the roast.
  • 9Mix broth, buter, mushrooms and roast in crock pot.
  • 10Heat and serve.
