Easy to make but it does take some time to make because it is slow cooked in a crockpot. It is delicious and easy!

Ingredients For shredded italian beef or venison sandwiches

  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    basil
  • 1 c
    italian dressing
  • 2 c
    water
  • 5 lb
    venison or beef roast

How To Make shredded italian beef or venison sandwiches

    Mix together all ingredients, except the roast, in a bowl. Set aside.

    Put roast into crockpot.
  • 3
    Pour mixture over roast.
  • 4
    Cook on low in the crockpot for 8 hours.
  • 5
    Remove the meat, shred it with forks and return to the crockpot for 30 minutes.
  • 6
    Serve on hoagie buns.
