    beef chuck roast
  • 1 can(s)
    french onion soup, condensed
  • 1 can(s)
    beef broth, campbell's not swanson
  • 1 can(s)
    beef consomme
  • 1 Tbsp
    beef bouillon
  • 8-10
    french or italian rolls

How to Make Shredded French Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Halve roast and place in a slow cooker.
  2. Combine the soup, consommé, broth and boullion; pour over roast.
  3. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
  4. Remove meat and shred with two forks. Serve on rolls. Skim fat from cooking juices and serve as a dipping sauce.
