Ingredients

  • BEEF
  • 5 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon each salt and chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • BBQ SAUCE
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons each cider vinegar and worcestershire sauc

How To Make shredded bbq beef

  • Step 1
    Place the beef, broth, chili powder, salt and pepper in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours. Remove the meat and shred with two forks.
  • Step 2
    Mix the BBQ sauce ingredients together in a saucepan. Simmer until thick and bubbly. Mix in the shredded beef and serve on buns.
