This recipe is one of my brainstorms it really is a great tasting dish.

Convection Oven


  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    groubd black pepper
  • 3 medium
    potatoes sliced thinly
  • 1 15 oz can(s)
    kidney beans drained
  • 1 medium
    onion chopped
  • 1 15 oz can(s)
    mexacan style tomatoes undrained
  • ·
    shredded jack cheese

How to Make Shipwreak Casserole by Eddie


  1. Brown ground beef, drain.
  2. Add basil, marjoram, and black pepper.
  3. Place in a lightly greased casserole dish.
  4. Layer with thin sliced potatoes, can of drained kidney beans and the chopped onion.
  5. Top with 1 can tomatoes undrained and sprinkle with jack cheese.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour take out of the oven sprinkle with more jack cheese put back in oven just until cheese melts.
    Serves 8
  7. NOTE: when you slice the potatoes put them in salted water.
