This recipe is one of my brainstorms it really is a great tasting dish.

yield Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon basil, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjorom
  • 1/2 teaspoon groubd black pepper
  • 3 medium potatoes sliced thinly
  • 1 15 oz cans kidney beans drained
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 15 oz cans mexacan style tomatoes undrained
  • - shredded jack cheese

How To Make shipwreak casserole by eddie

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef, drain.
  • Step 2
    Add basil, marjoram, and black pepper.
  • Step 3
    Place in a lightly greased casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    Layer with thin sliced potatoes, can of drained kidney beans and the chopped onion.
  • Step 5
    Top with 1 can tomatoes undrained and sprinkle with jack cheese.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour take out of the oven sprinkle with more jack cheese put back in oven just until cheese melts. Serves 8
  • Step 7
    NOTE: when you slice the potatoes put them in salted water.
