Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup soup
- 1/4 cup taco seasoning
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can sliced ripe olives ( 2 1/4 ounces)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded chedar cheese
- 1 package jiffey corn bread mix
- 1 large egg
How To Make sheryl's southwest tamale pie

Step 1In a large skillet,cook ground beef and onion untill beef is no longer pink,drain.

Step 2Add cream of mushroom soup and water to beef mixture.

Step 3Stir in seasoning,heat to boil. Stir in corn and olives. Spoon into a greased 2 qt. cassorole dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.

Step 4In a bowl combine corn bread mix , egg, milk. Spoon over cheese layer.

Step 5Bake at 400 degrees F. for 25 min. or untill crust is golden brown. And corn bread is done in middle. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
