butter

golden mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 c
sherry wine
1/2 c
water
3-4 lb
chuck roast, cubed

How to Make Sherried Beef

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a skillet, saute onion and garlic in butter.
  • 2Add soup, sherry and water and simmer 1 minute.
  • 3Put cubed beef in a lightly greased large baking pan and pour soup mixture on top.
  • 4Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours.
  • 5Serve over noodles or rice.
