My Shepherds Pie is a bit different. I don't use soup in mine. Corn is the only veggie. My family loves it!!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    whole kernel corn or whatever veggies you like
  • MASHED POTATOES

  • ·
    potatoes to make mashed potatoes
  • 1 c
    sour cream or prepared ranch dip
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste
  • ·
    add milk if needed

How to Make Shepherds Pie Recipe

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown hamburger with onions, garlic, salt & pepper. (Boil potatoes while preparing hamburger)
  2. Prepare potatoes with above ingredients. Set aside.
  3. Using a 9x13 baking dish, place hamburger meat on the bottom, then corn and mashed potatoes on top and then cheddar cheese.
  4. bake 350F for 30-40 minutes.
