This is my mom's favorite to make and now i make this every now and then for my family!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6or8 - large potatoes
  • 2 cans mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make sheperds pie

  • Step 1
    peel and cut potatoes(you can use instant potatoes if you want to make it quicker)and then boil them
  • Step 2
    While potatoes are boiling, brown ground beef,drain
  • Step 3
    preheat oven to 350
  • Step 4
    When potatoes are fork soft,drain and mash them
  • Step 5
    put the drain beef in 9x13 casserole dish, mix just a little mashed potatoes with beef
  • Step 6
    mix the drain vegetables and cream of mushroom/chicken or both(sometimes i use both)pour on top of beef
  • Step 7
    put the rest of potatoes on top of vegetable mix
  • Step 8
    put in oven for 25 mins and then spread the shredded cheese on top put back in for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown
  • Step 9
    cool down for 5-10 min and serve
