looked this up on the internet, then added my own spices to make it my own. I cook almost everything with garlic. Also the next time I make it I think I'll sprinkle 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese in between the meat and mashed potato layers. I think that would be real tasty too. Let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 1 stick celery stalk
- 1 - small onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes
- 1/2 cup green beans
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
How To Make sheperds (cottage) pie

Step 1Peel and cube potatoes and cook until tender, drain

Step 2add butter and milk to potatoes and mash, set aside

Step 3In a skillet. add olive oil, onion, garlic and celery, saute until tender

Step 4add green beans cook until tender

Step 5add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, drain any fat

Step 6add flour, thyme, cook while stirring to avoid a raw flour taste. Then add beef broth and cook until starts to thicken.

Step 7While doing step 6. Preheat oven to 400

Step 8Pour your beef mixture into glass 9X13 pan or casserole dish, then top with mashed potatoes, spreading out to edges to seal.

Step 9Bake at 400 for 30-45 mins or until hot and bubbly.
