Shepard's Pie

This is an easy and delicious dish all in one pan....A family hit

1 1/2 lb
of ground beef, or ground turkey, or ground chicken..prefer the beef though
1 can(s)
cream style corn
1 pkg
frozen mixed vegetables, or any you prefer
1 c
2 c
mashed potatoes/or instant mashed potatoes
1 pkg
pillsbury biscuits
4 Tbsp
of butter


1Brown meat in pan and drain grease drippings add salt and pepper
2Place Meat in 9 x 13 inch baking dish
3Place thawed frozen vegetables on top of meat
4Pour can of cream corn over top
5Top with Mashed Potatoes and spread to cover meat with butter
6Place in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. and last 5 minutes turn temp up to 425 to brown and crust up potatoes
7place Biscuits in oven per directions on package and serve
8Alternative choices to this dish are to
1. place potatoes on bottom of dish instead of on top
2. place the biscuits on top of mixture and bake for a delicious crunchy bake
