This is taken from an issue of First magazine. I am a big fan of meatloaf, so I am always on the lookout for new ways to prepare it. This was very good! Hope you enjoy it!: )

Ingredients
- 1 - onion, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons corn oil, divided
- 6 slices sandwich bread, cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 12 ounces italian chicken sausage, casing removed and crumbled
- 3/4 cup pasteurized egg substitute
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1 package (1.4 oz.) vegetable soup and recipe mix
- 1 teaspoon herbes de provence
- 10 ounces white mushrooms, quartered
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups beef broth
How To Make savory meat loaf with mushroom gravy

Step 1Heat oven to 375. In skillet over medium-high heat, cook onions in 1 Tbs. corn oil 3 minutes.

Step 2In bowl, combine bread and milk. Let sit 3 minutes. Stir in onions and next 6 ingredients. On broiler pan, shape meat mixture into 10" x 7" loaf. Bake 1 hour, or until thermometer inserted in meat reads 160. Transfer meat to platter; reserve drippings.

Step 3In skillet over medium-high heat, cook mushrooms in remaining corn oil 1 minute. Add flour; cook 1 minute. Add heavy cream, beef broth and reserved drippings. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and let simmer 3 minutes. Serve gravy with meat loaf.
