My family loves taco night! After having the same old tacos, I decided to mix it up a bit and use this recipe, they love them! Even my two picky little boys!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    hamburger meat
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp
    taco seasoning
  • 2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 Tbsp
    mexican oregano
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1
    yellow onion, chopped
  • 1
    green or red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    cilantro, chopped
  • 12
    soft flour tortillas
  • 3 c
    shredded cheese

How to Make Savory Beef Tacos

Step-by-Step

  1. In skillet on Med-high heat add butter, bell pepper, onion, salt, cumin, oregano, saute until peppers are soft.
  2. Add meat, cook med-high heat until browned. Drain fat. Add cilantro and taco seasoning, mix well.
  3. Heat flour tortillas in microwave wrapped in damp paper towel for about 30-45 seconds.
  4. Take a tortilla and add as much of the meat mixture as you would like, top with cheese....enjoy!
  5. Also good with fresh lime juice squeezed over top or topped with your favorite salsa!
