savory bacon-topped meatloaf
(1 RATING)
I have always loved meatloaf. It's one of my "go to" meals to feed my hungry family. It's quick and easy, and adapted from watching my mom and my grandmother cooking over the years. Enjoy!

How To Make savory bacon-topped meatloaf
-
Step 1Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. I use my hands to mix all of my ingredients for this.
-
Step 2In large bowl, mix together ground beef and 2 eggs, until eggs are incorporated. Add beef broth, mustard, and steak sauce and mix well. In a smaller bowl, mix dry ingredients together with a fork or whisk. Slowly add the dry mixture to the meat mixture, and work it through until thoroughly incorporated.
-
Step 3Shape into a loaf and place into a baking dish. Prepare 3-4 slices of bacon in a frying pan, cooking until no longer pink, but definitely not crispy. Lay the slices on the top of the meatloaf. Place baking dish in the oven.
-
Step 4Bake for 40 minutes.
