sauerkraut meatballs

I HATE sauerkraut but love these so please don't pass up the recipe just because you're not a sauerkraut lover! Very easy to make. Meatballs can be made the day before. Since I generally make this dish to take somewhere else, I bake it, then transfer to a crock pot.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground chuck
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 3 - eggs
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- 1 bottle water (use chili sauce bottle)
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 can whole cranberry sauce
- 1 can sauerkraut, (washed and well drained)
How To Make sauerkraut meatballs

Step 1Combine ground chuck, bread crumbs, onion soup mix and eggs. Form into small meatballs. Place into 9X13 dish. Do not brown.

Step 2Simmer together chili sauce, water, brown sugar, cranberry sauce and sauerkraut. Pour over meatballs and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
