I HATE sauerkraut but love these so please don't pass up the recipe just because you're not a sauerkraut lover!

Very easy to make. Meatballs can be made the day before. Since I generally make this dish to take somewhere else, I bake it, then transfer to a crock pot.

Ingredients

ground chuck
1 c
bread crumbs
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix
3
eggs
1 bottle
chili sauce
1 bottle
water (use chili sauce bottle)
1 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 can(s)
whole cranberry sauce
1 can(s)
sauerkraut, (washed and well drained)

How to Make Sauerkraut Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine ground chuck, bread crumbs, onion soup mix and eggs. Form into small meatballs. Place into 9X13 dish. Do not brown.
  • 2Simmer together chili sauce, water, brown sugar, cranberry sauce and sauerkraut. Pour over meatballs and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
