Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can sauerkraut (1 lb. 11 ounce) drained
- 2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
- 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
How To Make sauerkraut hotdish

Step 1Brown beef and onion together with salt and pepper, drain fat.

Step 2Layer half the beef-onion mixture in a 7x11 baking dish. Cover with sauerkraut and top with remaining meat-onion mixture.

Step 3Put uncooked noodles on top. Spread soups over noodles. ( I mix soups together first).

Step 4Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 30 minutes more.
