Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 32 oz
    can sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 c
    uncooked noodles
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c
    milk

How to Make SAUERKRAUT HOT DISH

Step-by-Step

  1. In a skillet, brown ground beef, onion, salt and pepper; drain. Spoon half of the ground beef mixture in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with half of the sauerkraut and half of the noodles. Repeat layer. Combine soups and milk, pour over noodles. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese, return to oven for 20 more minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
