ground chuck
1/2 lb
ground pork
1/2 c
finely chopped onion
3/4 c
fine dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp
fresh parsley
1 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tsp
caraway seeds
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1 large
egg, beaten
1/2 c
milk
2-3 Tbsp
vegetable oil
1 can(s)
(27 oz.) sauerkraut, undrained
additional parsley

How to Make SAUER KRAUT & MEATBALLS

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine the first eleven ingredients in a large bowl; shape into 18 meatballs. Brown meatballs in a large skillet in hot oil. Remove and drain.
  • 2Place the sauerkraut in the skillet and top with the meatballs.
  • 3Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through. Add water, if necessary. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
