Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless round steak
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
How To Make saucy oven-barbecued steaks

Step 1Trim excess fat from steak,and cut into serving-pieces.Heat oil in a large skillet;add steak,and brown on both sides.Transfer steak to a 2-quart shallow baking dish.

Step 2Combine remaining ingredients,stirring well;pour over steak.Cover and bake at 325*F.for 11/2 hours or until tender
