My precious little Mother made this when we were growing up in Fair Oaks California. We loved it, the only problem she usually served it with canned peas which we hated and tried to sneak to the dog when no one was looking....LOL Sorry Daddy!! NOT! She was and still is to this day a wonderful cook at the age of 82. God bless you Mommy

Ingredients For saucy little meat loaves

  • 1 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 3/4 c
    instant oats
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 md
    onion diced
  • 1
    egg slightly beaten with
  • 3/4 c
    evaporated milk

How To Make saucy little meat loaves

  • 1
    Combine all of the above ingredients and shape into 6 small loaves
  • 2
    Place in a baking dish that has been sprayed with pam
  • 3
    TOPPING 1/3 C Catsup 1 T Brown sugar 1 T prepared mustard
  • 4
    Combine topping ingredients and spread over the top of each meat loaf
  • 5
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  • 6
    Serve with mashed potatoes and My Granny Helens 9 day slaw. Enjoy
