Saucy Beef Taco Pizza

2 lb
ground beef
1 medium
onion, chopped
16 oz
taco sauce
4 oz
mild green chiles, chopped
1/2 c
olives, sliced
8 oz
refrigerated crescent rolls
1.5 c
corn chips, crushed
1 c
sour cream
1 c
monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
olives, sliced
mushrooms, sliced
1 c
lettuce, shredded
1 medium
avocado, peeled and sliced
1 medium
tomato, diced


1Brown ground beef and onion in large frying-pan or dutch oven.
2Pour off drippings and add 1 cup taco sauce, green chiles and olives.
3Separate crecent rolls into 8 triangles and press into greased 9 to 10-inch pie pan to form crust.
4Sprinkle 1 cup crushed corn chips evenly over dough.
5Spread beef mixture evenly over chips, spread with sour cream.
6Cover with shredded monterey jack cheese, then shredded cheddar cheese.
7Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup crushed chips.
8Garnish with sliced olives and mushrooms, if desired.
9Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden.
10Cut into wedges and serve with lettuce, avocado, tomato and remaining taco sauce.
