Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 16 oz
    taco sauce
  • 4 oz
    mild green chiles, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    olives, sliced
  • 8 oz
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1.5 c
    corn chips, crushed
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ·
    olives, sliced
  • ·
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 c
    lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium
    avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1 medium
    tomato, diced

How to Make Saucy Beef Taco Pizza

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in large frying-pan or dutch oven.
  2. Pour off drippings and add 1 cup taco sauce, green chiles and olives.
  3. Separate crecent rolls into 8 triangles and press into greased 9 to 10-inch pie pan to form crust.
  4. Sprinkle 1 cup crushed corn chips evenly over dough.
  5. Spread beef mixture evenly over chips, spread with sour cream.
  6. Cover with shredded monterey jack cheese, then shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup crushed chips.
  8. Garnish with sliced olives and mushrooms, if desired.
  9. Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden.
  10. Cut into wedges and serve with lettuce, avocado, tomato and remaining taco sauce.
